TÁGIDES (Revista de Literatura, Cultura e Arte Portuguesas) is a special and printed magazine of the Post-Graduate Program in Portuguese Literature at the University of São Paulo. This issue aims to problematize the normative paradigms with which the history of Portuguese literature has been made in the last 200 years. The intention is to relativize historically some categories that have been taken as universal for the understanding of the literary phenomenon, such as "authorship", "originality", "genuineness", "geniality", "work", "period style", "aesthetics" among others, to the extent that they are understood in the light of New Philology and a trans-historical and multicultural perspective. This reflection allows another description of the history of Portuguese letters, from Matéria Cavaleiresca to Gil Vicente, from Portuguese Aljamia to Manuel Pires de Almeida, from Sá de Miranda to Fernando Pessoa, less projective of values instituted by a romantic configuration of literary history.
It is composed of seven thematically related sections open to public collaboration: MOTE, presentation of the central theme and parts of the issue; GLOSAS, essays on the theme of the issue; VARIATIONS, related themes; TRANSLATION of classic article related to theme 1 and/or 2; DOCUMENT, unpublished or reissues, images, old prints or manuscripts; FICTION, fictional text related to theme 1 or 2, unpublished or not; CODA, reviews of books related to themes or not; general news; rules, deadlines and calls for sending articles and contributions to the following numbers.
