Canons: traditions / reconfiguration
Studies on the history of Portuguese Literature, based on its traditions, with emphasis on rereadings and reconfiguration of canons, with the aim of predicting new historiographic and interpretative possibilities.

Dialogues and Connections: other arts, knowledge and scenes
Corpus studies of Portuguese Literature in its dialogic and connective relationships with other artistic and epistemological fields, in the plurality of cemeteries where Portuguese culture is evident.

Studies on new authorial and text configurations of Portuguese Literature, considering the emergence of female and LGBTQIA+ voices, both in the contemporary universe and in literary history.

Studies the communities of fictional authors and readers, textual products and laboratories that promote the exercise of creative writing and criticism.

Poetics of Portuguese expression
Dedicated to developing studies and reflections on aesthetics and making literature from a synchronic or diachronic perspective, this line brings together projects linked to lyrics, from the primitive to the contemporary; Relationships with authors and poets of other nationalities of Portuguese expression; aesthetic theories and genre studies in a critical perspective of literary historiography.
Texts. Contexts. Intertexts
Turned to studies of the production and reception of Portuguese Literature in its dialogic relations with context, as well as with other semiotic and discursive systems. This line brings together transdisciplinary projects, to the extent that they establish relationships with other fields of knowledge, such as History, Philosophy, Music, Architecture, Ethics, Plastic Arts, Psychology, Imagology, International Relations, as well as with Literatures of other expressions: neo-Latin, Anglo-Saxon, Orient.
