GOAL PLAN
(2021-2024)
In relation to Professors:
1) Give greater visibility to the Portuguese Literature Conference, so that it remains a representative activity of the research of post-graduation students of the PPGLP and encourages the relationship between these students and the graduates.
2) Intensify the work of the research groups and laboratories, strengthening their specificities and expanding the dialogue with other universities in Brazil and abroad.
3) Promote publications by teachers and students in Qualis A and B magazines.
4) Strengthen exchanges, both national and international, in order to hold at least two events (congress/colloquium/seminar) per year, representing two levels.
5) Establish partnership relations with related areas of the Department of Classical and Vernacular Letters, without making efforts to increase the representation of the program in the context of submissing projects to national and international development agencies, endorsing the advancement of research in the field of linguistic studies and literary
6) Improve the visibility of the program, through electronic publications, constant updating of the site, online events, among others.
7) Minister, in a greater number, disciplines in person and at a distance in graduation and in post-graduation with visiting professors and postdoctoral students from other national and foreign universities.
8) Once an affirmative action policy has been established for the entry of blacks, indigenous people, transsexuals and transgender people, the program must develop permanence policies for these groups.
9) In the medium and long term we intend to create inter-institutional post-graduation courses, which will allow us to dialogue with various Brazilian and foreign universities and research centers,
10) We also intend to offer medium and long term courses in other languages, such as English, Spanish, French, or Italian – these objectives are defined by the , which Dean of Postgraduate Studies at USP encourages programs to adopt inter-institutional and multilingual policies.
In relation to students:
1) Expand the participation of graduate and post-graduation students in groups or research laboratories of the program.
2) Intensify the dialogue between teachers and students with groups and research centers external to the program, national and international.
3) Expand the participation of postgraduates in the program in the activities of the PAE – Educational Development Program, which has the purpose of training higher education teachers.
4) Expand the number of publications co-authored by teachers and students of the program and co-authored by researchers from other universities, national or international.
5) Attract the participation of students from national and foreign universities in distance courses offered by the program.
In relation to the outputs:
1) Encourage publications of alumni in partnership with teachers and students of PPG.
2) Enforce the participation of graduates without offering post-graduation disciplines, employing digital tools, whenever necessary.
3) Expand the participation of outputs in program committees, in person or virtually.
4) Ensure the participation of expenditures in the realization of scientific events, also from the use of digital tools, whenever necessary.
